I can only dream of having a Christmas tree as beautiful and festive as all of these…

How pretty! In a pet-free house I could do something like this, but this is anything but a pet-free house – we have four.
Annnnnnd, this would be our worst Christmas tree offender. Meet Chuck. That speck of dirt on his nose (that I didn’t notice until just now) is a clue that he likes to be into everything. He’s very curious and very mischievous. At the very least, he’s a handful. I can’t imagine the mess we’d have if we put up a tree like one of these. It just can’t be done here. I’m kind of sad about that.
This one is like a fairy-tale isn’t it? I can imagine little kids loving everything about this tree covered in candy. I love the window treatments in the background too. We have similar windows in this house, I wonder if Chuck would allow us to try that?
This is a nice, cozy setting for a very lovely tree isn’t it? Casual and comfortable. I love it. It reminds me of visiting my grandparents’ house on Christmas morning. Grandma loved wrapping everything in red and white paper. Me too. Chuck loves any color combination on wrapping paper. They all shred the same.
Wow! Every branch is packed with ornaments. I probably have enough ornaments to recreate this look too. Chuck.
I always wanted to do a Christmas tree in these colors. I love this one. But, if we had a tree like this? Chuck would have our entire house redecorated with those beautiful aqua, silver and white ribbons in 15 minutes flat.
Oh Christmas Tree, how I’ll miss you this year. Maybe next year, when Chuck’s a year older and he slows down a little?
Wait. Now there’s an idea! Putting a Christmas tree outside on the patio between the garage and house! I love this idea! And, Chuck could only admire it from his perch inside on the window sill. This could work.
Do you have kitties helping you with your holiday decorating? Isn’t it fun?
Have a wonderful Friday!
